If you have ever taken the plunge and followed your dreams, ambitions, education, or maybe your job and moved abroad, you will understand how it makes your emotions go haywire. You know the move day is coming, but somehow you don’t actually comprehend it. You tell people all about it, but do you understand it yourself? Probably not, and you probably won’t until you have been living in this new place for a few weeks and finally think, “Woah, I actually really live here now?” You know you’re leaving your family and friends, and internally debate whether you are making the right decision. You second guess yourself every 5 minutes, but some small part of you still knows it’s right. Whether it’s because of a bad case of the travel bug, to go off to college, or for the opportunity of a lifetime, you are going away and your feelings can’t quite take it. Why I Chose to Move Abroad and Travel When I Graduated Instead of Get a Job

For anyone who hears that I am a graduating college student, the obvious choice is to ask me what I am going to do next. Friends, teachers, and most adults I encounter constantly bombard me with questions about what the hell I am going to do with my life after I graduate, what I want to do with my major, and what perfectly planned idea I must already have for my future. I may be one of a few who hate these questions, because no, I do not have an entry level job at a Fortune 500 company with promise of moving up, and to be honest, right now, I don’t want one.
