This photo journal encompasses my travels throughout Ljubljana, Lake Bled, and Lake Bohinj in Slovenia. They are some of the most beautiful and breathtaking places I have ever been in my life and I hope to go back one day to more thoroughly explore this country!

  1. I am impressed by all the pictures and the trips you did. Those amazing views and beautiful adventures are incredible and it just makes me want to go on an airplane right now and go on a trip to Slovenia. The thing is that it changed my aspect of the country as I never knew that it was that pleasing and so green! I always wanted to go on a trip to europe but mostly in places such as England or France but your blog has completely changed my perpective of the country! The forest, the mountains and the lakes are just breathtaking. Moreover they were able to keep this anthenticity of the country and not fill it with buildings and this is I think what makes it so charming. Its an incredible adventure and what a good life! I am from a little island in the indian Ocean which is called Mauritus and I would be glad to welcome you and help you discover the different beauties of our island too! I have got one question, if you had to settle in one of the country you visited, which one would you choose and why?

Hey Shane, thanks so much! You should definitely jump on a plane to Slovenia 😛 It really is stunningly green and scenic, with some of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen in my life! It’s not totally a country you’d expect to visit but it’s so worth it. I would absolutely LOVE to visit Mauritius one day, too! It’s on my list for sure. And I really don’t know where I would settle if I had to; that’s a hard one. The US has always been home to me, but I love Australia and the UK – but I might even enjoy settling somewhere that isn’t english! Or Cape Town! Too many places, haha 🙂
