Bill Monroe’s offers a variety of small cabins that provide the bare-bones on a budget. The “Goins” cabin (pictured above) might be small but can host up to four people. The best part? It’s astronomically cheaper than many Brown County, Indiana, cabin rentals. The downside? The bathrooms are shared, and there’s no on-site hot tub (but we were getting greedy there for a minute, weren’t we?).
The campground is also home to two stages for live music and festivals, so if any of these shows interest you, you know you to stay!

And not just that — but groups that love to have fun as there’s corn hole, a bumper pool table, board games, and more. What we love the most about this cabin is the thought-out design, with a rustic exterior and modern interior.
There’s lots of outdoor space, including front and back porches and a backyard patio with a seating area. If you love a good sunset, the front porch offers an elevated view where the sun sets over the tree line. For some evening outdoor fun, a BBQ grill, fire pit, and hot tub keep everyone entertained.

The Brooks Run cabin keeps to its country roots with wooden and stone-built architecture and country decor. Tucked into a wooded area about 10 minutes from Nashville, the cozy Brown County cabin with a hot tub has three bedrooms. One room is perfect for kids as there are five beds.
Venture outside, and you’ll find a screened-in porch with a dining table, a fire pit with seating, and, of course, a bubbling jacuzzi tub! The yard is also quite large, so you can play sports games, and the kids have lots of room to play! There’s also a fenced-in area, so if you have a dog but worry about them getting lost, they’ll be safe there.
Rustic and Cute Pappy’s Cabin
Pappy’s Cabin is one of the most cozy lil’ cabins in Brown County IN surrounded by towering trees. The cabin is rustic yet upscale with sleek wooden interiors, chandeliers dangling from the bedroom ceilings, and a gas fireplace built into river rock.
Let me just say, it reminds me a bit of my own Grandpa’s home and he grew up in the countryside of Pennsylvania. But unlike my Grandpa’s house, there’s a hot tub here!
One of the main stars of Pappy’s Cabin is the covered back deck. It’s super spacious with a dining table and lounge chairs, with a view directly into the serene green of the woods. While this cabin doesn’t have games or as much outdoor space as other Brown County cabin rentals mentioned, Pappy’s Cabin is still a great getaway to grill with the family and immerse yourself into the outdoors.
Hidden Away Cabin Rental: Brookside
The Brookside Cabin is perfect for groups and families looking for an upscale getaway tucked into the woods. On the outside, the cabin boasts a fire pit with seating, plenty of yard space, a deck with a grill, and a rustic cabin exterior. Inside, though, you’ll find updated modern furnishings and appliances. It’s almost got a beachy-type decor with light blues and whites.
The cabin has a living room, kitchen, washer, hot tub, fenced-in porch, and more. You could certainly stay here a few days or even a week. Plus with fast-WiFi, you can extend your stay even longer if you can work remotely!
