Below, we have compiled ten of the most unique places to stay in Fredericksburg TX for your next visit. Fredericksburg, Texas is surely one of the most unique destinations in Texas with its German roots and scenic hilly wine country surrounds. It also happens to have some of the most unique stays in the whole state, all concentrated in one little area!
This city is rich in German history with a very Texas twist. The main street looks half ‘wild west’ and half ‘central Europe,’ creating an amazing vibe that sets it apart from the rest of Texas. Fredericksburg has over 10 wineries and tasting rooms on the main street (so you can do a wine tour on foot) and dozens more in the surrounding countryside, too.
We absolutely adored stopping here on our cross-country road trip and wished we could have stayed more than 2 nights! There’s so much to do; you can easily explore all the wineries, viewpoints, and museums while staying at one of the many unique bed and breakfast inns, hotels, vacation rentals, or cabins.
Whether you’re looking for a luxurious vacation getaway or just need a break from your everyday routine, there are plenty of cool accommodations in Fredericksburg available to suit your needs.
