The Blue Caves are located on a tiny rocky island off the coast of Vis, called Biševo. The way it works is that you must get in line and get your number as early as possible, and they call numbers in groups to go inside the Blue caves.

As they’re one of the most popular places to visit in Croatia, there are a LOT of people that come to see them! The line can get long, but when you see the sparkling blue water it will all be worthwhile.

Vis Island + Stiniva Cove

Some tours will visit the towns of Komiza and Vis Town, which are quaint old towns with lots of little shops, restaurants, and beaches… some fortresses too! But, the most important thing is to check out the amazing Stiniva Cove.

Stiniva Cove is a famous and extremely photogenic cove. It actually used to be a MASSIVE cave, and one day the top of it fell through creating a scenic small cove that’s hard to access. Pakleni Islands, Hvar

The Pakleni islands are a beautiful island group that surrounds the port of Hvar town on Hvar island. It will take some time to reach these from Vis and Budikovac, but they are a must-see when visiting Croatia.

The Pakleni islands are fairly untouched. You will only find a nightclub, a resort, and a beach or two. These islands are a lovely getaway from the bustle of Hvar town, which is right across the bay.

Many of the best blue caves tours from Split will stop over at the Pakleni islands on the way from Budikovac to Hvar. They are perfect for having a swim, relaxing on the rocks, or perusing some secluded beach bars before diving back into the water.

Hvar Island
