Looking for Barcelona rooftop bars?! I have the ultimate list here for you! This incredible city is FULL of amazing rooftops and terraces that look out over the city, and I made it my mission upon moving here to find as many as I could. Funnily enough, my list of rooftop bars in Barcelona GREW rather than shrank!
Either way, I have made it to a lot and can recommend a ton more. Most of Barcelona’s roof bars are part of hotels that you can walk up to and take an elevator to the rooftop bar. Some require reserving ahead – especially the Sercotel Hotel that looks out at the Sagrada Familia.
Below I have listed some awesome Barcelona rooftop bars and what you need to know before visiting them. I have included their location, the average prices for everything from wine and cocktails to starters and mains, and how to get up to them in the first place.
I have listed every roof bar Barcelona can offer – even ones I haven’t been to yet (at the bottom). I am slowly making it to all of them, however, and will continue to update this list! If someone wants to send me 20 euro for a cocktail at one of the fancy ones LMK 😉 Kidding, kinda lol.

Barcelona Rooftop Bars at a Glance:
Quick tip: most Barcelona rooftop bars are open year-round, but some on this list reduce their hours in winter or close completely from November-March, s make sure to check ahead of time. For example, Salts and La Terrassa at MNAC are seasonal and usually only open April-October. The hotel rooftops (Ohla, Sir Victor, Barcelo Raval) stay open year-round but can be chilly in winter… bring a jacket! Summer (June-September) is peak rooftop season when everything’s open late, and the vibe is amazing, but you’ll also face the biggest crowds – so booking ahead is very wise!
A few of these rooftops require reservations – especially Sercotel Rosello (100% must book ahead) and the fancier spots like Ohla and La Dolce Vitae on weekends. Most others are walk-in but expect a wait at sunset, particularly Thursday-Sunday. Dress code is generally smart-casual for the hotel rooftops… I’ve gotten away with nice shorts and a top, but flip-flops and beachwear might get you turned away at the high-end places. The more casual spots like Salts and Barcelo Raval don’t care what you wear.
There are bars of many budgets with many views in many places! Here are some quick shortlists if you’re in a hurry:

The Roof – The Barcelona EDITION

Location: El Born (Next to mercat de santa Caterina)
How to Get To It: You’ll have to walk inside the hotel or past a probably-empty restaurant to get to the elevator. You’ll think you’re going the wrong way – but ask the bartender or hotel receptionist about the rooftop bar and they will direct you to the elevators and to level 10.
This Barcelona rooftop bar is LUXE!! Your jaw will probably drop when you get out of the elevator and see the deep blue sea beyond the red rooftops to the left, and the hills to the right. Your jaw will fall to the FLOOR when you see people laying on lounges and realize there’s a POOL up there too.
This place is pretty cruisey but definitely fancy. They offer brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and cocktails and asian-style bites throughout the day. Each side has tables and chairs in the open, so depending on what time you arrive (if daytime), one side will be in the sun. But there are inside tables also.
Price: Drink prices are on the higher end – cocktails are 17 on average, and meals go for about the same. Wine is 12. Small bites and meals are a bit less around 12-18. But you’re REALLY paying for the view and it is GOOOD.
The Rooftop at Sir Victor Hotel

Location: between L’Eixample and Gracia – just off Diagonal Station
How to Get In: you need to walk inside the Sir Victor Hotel and get in the elevator to the roof. There will be someone monitoring the door. You usually need to make reservations ahead of time, so check out their IG for info.
The Rooftop at Sir Victor is a quite large hotel rooftop that is open to the public. They have lots of tables of all sizes and also some smaller seating spots next to the pool.
I went here for a Thursday evening DJ event with some great deep house/techno music going on. I highly recommend this if it’s still going on, which it was last time I updated this article. They also hav Oysters and bubbles on Tuesdays, and Jazz & wine wednesdays.
The view from the roof is over the lovely rooftops of Barcelona. One of the most prominent views is of the rooftop and strange artsy structures of one of the Gaudi buildings – Casa Milá. It’s pretty cool seeing Gaudi structures from a bar!
Pricing: Cheaper beers and house wine for €6-8, cocktails for €15-€17, snacks for €7-12, meals for more
Terrazza Sercotel Rosellon (Ayre) – Rooftop Bar Barcelona Sagrada Familia View!

Location: 100m northwest of the Sagrada Familia in Eixample
How to Get Up: Reserve online here beforehand and then arrive at the Ayre Hotel Rosellon, where you can give your name and go up to the most Barcelona view ever!
This might just be the most INCREDIBLE Barcelona rooftop bar because of the DIRECT Sagrada Familia view! You will be overwhelmed by the grandeur of the Sagrada Familia, only 100 meters or so away from the rooftop – one of the best views you will get of it in the city. So this is awarded the best rooftop bar for photos for sure!
It’s understandably crowded and sought-after, which is why you MUST book in advance. There’s also a one-drink minimum and a 90 minute time limie – just so Instagram girls don’t waste space without buying anything 😛
The terrace is quite spacious and open, obviously with sweeping views over the whole city! The star though is of course a unique view over the number one tourist attraction in all of Barcelona. Rooms at the Sercotel Hotel Rosellon are very sought-after in the summer but usually available, and may dip below 200 euros in winter!
Price: wine glass 5.5+, cocktails 15, tapas 11-15. (not bad!)
Salts – Terrassa Bar Montjuic

Location: Montjuic near the mirador de Poble Sec. You definitely need to hike up here, or take the 55 bus.
How to get up: you can walk up or come in from the street behind the bar – Avingude Miramar. No elevators required.
Salts might just be the most casual and cheapest of these Barcelona Rooftop bars… and one of the coolest! It overlooks the two massive Olympic pools and diving blocks as well as the WHOLE city.
This rooftop bar or terrace bar is located at the top of the grandstands above the pools (which were used for the Olympics)! This means that you can sit at the tables OR just grab a drink and sit in the grandstands, and watch the sun go down, as the city lights flicker at night.
To order food and drinks here, you have to wait in line and order at the counter. No table service here! They will either pour your drink right away or give you a number if you order food.
They have tons of food and drink options and were super laid back although busy as hell for sunset time. I loved this spot and will definitely return!
Price: The beers are €3-6.50 depending on size, the sangrias are €4.50, and sodas are even cheaper. The food is cheap also – snacks and salads for €3-9, pizzas/flatbreads for €9.50, and burgers for around €10. Score!
Hotel Oasis Rooftop Bar

Location: Between El Born and Barceloneta – next to the main Train Station Frances
How to Get Up: Walk into the hotel and take the elevator OR stairs up to the SECOND floor (yes, only one floor up)
The Hotel Oasis rooftop is a gorgeous place to spend a sunny afternoon. It is complete with a pool, lounge-type chairs and also tables, and it also covered in green vines and plants giving it an extra cozy feel.
The view is of a Plaza and historic faculty building, but the idea at this place is more to bask in the sun on the roof than to look at a view. You can order anything from meals to tapas and even have a dip in the pool (maybe reserved for hotel guests, but there’s only one way to find out)!
Price: 7-10 for tapas, 5.50-6 for glass of wine/beer, 9.50-13 for cocktails
Terraza Pulitzer Barcelona Rooftop Bar

Location: Near Placa de Catalunya
How to Get Up: Take the elevator inside the hotel Pulitzer to the Terraza Level. There may be a wait!
The Terraza Pulitzer is a lovely rooftop space steps from Plaza Catalunya with a view of the shopping street below – Carrer de Pelai. There’s plenty of space and a great food menu as well as drinks.
The food here was fantastic – my friends and I got a lot of different things like croquettes, pita wraps, and salmon toast which was all good. Cocktails and beers were as would be expected. We were there on a Friday and it was a vibe – they have a dj playing on summer evenings from 6-9 or 7-10 depending on the day. This is the best rooftop bar to come for a vibey evening with music and socializing.
If you sit at the edge you can get a bit of a view of the street below! Not all tables have a view – more of just a vibe – but it’s a lovely space with green touches and nice design.
Price: Cocktails 15, Starters 6-10, mains 13-16
Terraza La Dolce Vitae, Rooftop Restaurant + Bar at the Hotel Majestic

Location: Eixample just off of Passeig de Gracia
How to Get up: Perhaps reserve beforehand for a table at yet another incredible Barcelona hotel rooftop bar. It’s at the top of ‘Hotel Majestic,’ which is well-located in the middle of the Eixample.
This one is on Google Maps as Terraza ‘La Dolce Vitae’, Restaurant & Bar – right next to the Hotel Majestic. The Dolce Vitae Rooftop at the Hotel Majestic is just that – majestic. It has sweeping views over the whole city – not too far from the Sagrada Familia.
It has a gorgeous rooftop pool and spacious 360 degree views over the city. With comfy chairs and tables set across an open wooden deck with a small covered area as well, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon in Barcelona.
This place actually has a Michelin star chef… which is incredible, but you can guess what kind of price tag this would come with. It’s a foodie’s paradise, also with craft cocktails, but the price tag will come with it too.
Price: cocktails 23 (!!!), glass of wine 11-15+, beer 9-10, sharing plates about 10-25, mains (the limit does not exist, but in the 30’s mainly)
Rooftop Bar Ohla Barcelona

Location: At the top of 5* Ohla Hotel, on the main street Via Laietana between El Born and Gothic Quarter
How to Get Up: wait in line outside Hotel Ohla for a spot to open up. Get there before 6:30 in summer to get a table with no wait – it’s always VERY crowded around sunset!
Ohla is one of the most well-known Barcelona rooftop bars. With arguably the best location, closest to everywhere in the center of town – close to El Born, the Gothic Quarter, Placa de Catalunya, and more – it is the most accessible.
However, you must arrive early! Get there a few hours before sunset for some of the most sweeping views of Barcelona’s cathedrals, domes, and old buildings in the city center.
Ohla has a gorgeous pool area with a clear-sided pool next to seating areas. This is one of the most luxurious rooftop bars in Barcelona. The cocktails and food will be exquisite, but on the pricier side than a lot of this list.
Price: Starters 15-25, cocktails 16
Arenas de Barcelona Rooftop Bars + Restaurants

Location: directly next to Plaza de España, which also has its own Metro station
How to get up: you have to pay a small fee next to the glass elevator to get to the roof. It’s worth the view to do this alone, even if you don’t sit down at a bar!
Arenas de Barcelona is an old events and bullfighting stadium from the early 1900’s that has been converted into a shopping mall. The top story of this huge circular building houses 7-8 restaurants, all open to the horizon and facing in many different directions for gorgeous views.
Each restaurant has a different cuisine, and its own respective drinks. So they aren’t ONLY Barcelona rooftop bars, but restaurants too, if that’s what you are looking for.
Some restaurants face the Plaza de España and Montjuïc castle, and others face over the city and towards Tibidabo castle. Choose which view you want, or follow the best/cheapest-looking drinks!
Price: pretty much all of these restaurants were on the more expensive side. I found a 2×1 deal for mojitos at the Japanese place, but other than that most dishes will likely be at least €20-25+
Barcelo Raval Hotel: 360 Rooftop + B-Lounge Restaurant

Location: Ramba de Raval
How to Get Up: Enter the hotel and take the elevator up
This amazing hotel is actually quite round and has a deck around the entire rooftop. There’s a pool, amazing trendy decor, and such a vibe! It’s very casual because you just walk up to the bar to get a drink and sit where you please.
They know the view is amazing so there are plenty of outward-facing tables and a ledge around the entire rooftop where you can pull up a chair and place a drink.
I recommend walking around the entire thing before making an informed decision on which direction you want to face – towards the sunset behind Tibidabo, towards the National Palace and Montjuic, towards the ocean, or towards the rest of El Raval and the pointed church steeples of the Gothic Quarter. It’s quite spectacular!
Price: Wines €6.5, Beers €5.5-6.5, Cocktails €12.5-14
1881 Per Sagardi Rooftop Bar + Restaurant at the Museu d’Història de Catalunya

Location: On the roof of the Catalunya History Museum, overlooking Port Vell on the way to Barceloneta
How to Get Up: If you walk into the archway in the middle of the Catalunya History Museum (Museo d’Historia de Catalunya) you will see a host/hostess, a small line area, and a menu on the wall. Ask the hostess for the waiting time, or they will lead you right up.
This is another of the higher-class rooftops in Barcelona. It’s the only one I know about that actually has a view of the water (there are no rooftop bars in Barceloneta or along the beach as far as I know). So from up here on the top of a historic 1881 arched building, you can enjoy a view from the fanciest yachts in Barcelona in the foreground to Montjuic and the Cathedrals of the Gothic Quarter behind.
The restaurant inside has a Mediterranean theme (white tablecloth style), while the outdoor terrace is more chilled with relaxing spaces and sofas. They usually have dj’s playing in the evenings until sunset. For a bar in a historic building, the prices aren’t actually as extortionate as you would expect.
Price: Starters 14-26, cocktails 12, house wine 6-8
La Terrassa de MNAC

Location: Directly Outside the MNAC Museum – a huge castle on the hill with an AMAZING view.
How to Get Up: Walk up LOTS of stairs! There are actually escalators going up the hill from the Placa d’Espanya metro station as well. Close to Arenas de Barcelona too.
This isn’t a roof, but it has an AMAZING view and it’s a very casual bar. I go up here a lot to watch the sunset, and there’s a tiny cafe/bar that serves superi affordable drinks from cava to aperol to beer to soft drinks – at prices like Barcelona used to be, like €3 euro canyas and €4 wines.
There’s someone playing piano during the sunset most nights, and paired with the sunset view it gathers dozens of people each night. This view is absolutely FREE to go to unless you want to purchase a drink for a quite affordable price from this Terrace bar.
Noxe, the The W’s Rooftop Bar, Restaurant, and Lounge

Photos screenshotted from Noxe website – check it out!
Location: The Very end (or beginning, depending on how you look at it) or Barceloneta Beach, in the massive crescent-shaped W hotel.
How to Get Up: You can make a reservation ahead of time for food, or show up to the hotel lobby and ask if there’s space to go have a drink at Noxe (it’s 21+ and has a dress code).
On the 26th floor of the iconic W hotel that famously begins Barcelona’s stretch of beach, we have Noxe – an epic bar/ cocktail lounge, restaurant serving Japanese cuisine and signature cocktails, and of course some of the best and most unique views on this list. It also has special programming for Noxe Club, a nightclub venue with music, VIP tables, and such.
Being the only rooftop bar (or should I say, high elevation bar) overlooking the beach in Barcelona that I know of, this one definitely has some of the most unique and EPIC views on this list looking down all the Barcelona beaches. Coming to this bar would be cool, but you could also treat yourself to a room at the W with the same view, too!
Prices: Sushi and Sashimi from 7-25, super fun + creative signature cocktails: 16-19
Honorable Mentions for Barcelona Rooftop Bars:
I haven’t made it to these ones yet (still working through my rooftop bucket list! 😅), but they’re on my radar and come highly recommended. I’ll update with full details once I visit! Unfortunately, I can’t quite visit a Barcelona roof bar every single day 😛
Gran Hotel Havana Rooftop
This is another amazing luxe rooftop bar on Gran Via with a pool! The pool and spa are for guests only but you can reserve here. It’s an absolutely fabulous location in the city in the middle of and walkable to everything. The terrace has lots of tables for guests to dine, as well as a pool with a view.
Tope at the Hoxton
The only bar on this list located a bit farther north in Poblenou (next to the gherkin-shaped building/Torre Glories), Tope is one of the coolest venues on this list. It’s a taqueria so it specializes in Mexican favorites like tacos and margaritas, and the view is AMAZING looking out towards the whole city from a high vantage point. There’s a large pool and events often.
Mood Rooftop Bar + Restaurant
This Eixample rooftopbar is only a block away from Sir Victor’s “The Rooftop.’ It’s another really beautiful option for a rooftop bar in Barcelona that also has a pool, lovely atmosphere, and lots of seating with shade for hot days.
Last I checked, cocktails are 17-18 and the dishes really range in price but the food looks incredible – from cheese and meat plates to calssic tapas to fondue and other meat options like lamb skewers.
La Terraza del Central – Roof Bar at Grand Hotel Central
I tried to go here and it seemed closed – I couldn’t get into the Gran Hotel Central at all a few years back, but it has since opened back up. They have a beautiful pool with some lounge beds next to it, beautiful tables with pillowed seating and gentle shade made for the summer breeze. The menu is very spanish tapas-centered but also almost Greek-leaning, with mezze, tapa options, salads, meat skewers, and a nice variery of dishes. Expect to pay 10-13 for a glass of wine and 17 for cocktails.
AZUL Rooftop Barceloneta
Finally, another amazing ocean/beach-view rooftop bar and restaurant in Barcelona! This spot is quite close to the W but with more open-air sections and food that looks to-die-for.
Eleven BCN
This bar is on the – you guessed it – eleventh floor of the NH Collection Barcelona Gran Hotel Calderón in Eixample. They have fun signature cocktails, and a mostly tapa-focused menu with favorites like pan con tomate, olives, croquettes, jamon iberico, and patatas bravas as well as some other unique sharing plates like ceviche and guacamole.
